What is Shemoon, exactly?
A leadership archetype assessment built around eight archetypes — Catalyst, Maverick, Strategist, Visionary, The Chief, The Champion, The Maker, and Confidant. Rather than diagnosing what needs fixing, it reveals the pattern that's already true about how you lead and communicate.
How is this different from Myers-Briggs, DISC, or other assessments?
Most established tools start from the same place: identifying a gap to close or a weakness to manage. Shemoon starts from the opposite assumption — that the goal is recognising and celebrating who you already are, not correcting it.
How was Shemoon built?
Shemoon draws on more than ten years of research from real coaching practice: coaching data, surveys and questionnaires gathered from leaders, teams and professionals. Along the way, its founder, Cynthia Heywood-Beldon, tested most of the established assessments in use today and paid close attention to what genuinely resonated with clients, and what didn’t. Most tools start from what needs fixing. Shemoon starts from who you already are.
The eight archetypes were carefully designed around core traits, mapped on two lines: whether you’re drawn to vision or to what’s real right now, and whether you lead boldly or in a measured way.
Shemoon follows a rigorous methodology: carefully selected questions and a scoring logic that stays true to your answers. Forced-choice questions help you pick what’s truly you rather than what sounds good, questions are balanced at both ends of each line so no style is favoured, and a built-in attention check makes sure results reflect considered answers.

The free version gives you your primary archetype instantly. The full report (€39) includes your complete profile: essence, career patterns, shadow side and growth edge, a communication playbook, a relational map against all seven other archetypes, and a direct comparison with your closest mirror archetype. The €179 tier adds a live 20-minute debrief call to talk through your results directly.
Is this a clinical or diagnostic tool?
No. Shemoon is a self-reflection and leadership development tool. It is not a clinical, psychological, or diagnostic instrument, and shouldn't replace professional psychological, medical, or mental health advice.
Can I get a refund?

What's the minimum age to use Shemoon?
Shemoon is intended for users aged 18 and over.
Can I become a licensed Shemoon coach? What's the difference between Associate and Certified Practitioner?
Yes — two tiers are available. Both start with the same live online training and a 27-question certification exam. Associate includes a recorded practice reading, reviewed by a senior facilitator, and covers individual reports only. Certified Practitioner adds a live practice reading plus a live practice team session, and unlocks Team Octave™ and the Team Octave Facilitation Guide — the tier you need to deliver team readings, not just individual ones. What if I can’t make one of the training sessions?
Life doesn’t always fit a training calendar. If you can’t make a session, you can move it to a later cohort within 12 months, or catch up in a private live session where possible. Your place and the hours you’ve already attended aren’t lost. Just let us know as early as you can.
What's included in a Team Reading?
A Team Reading is a team assessment and workshop built on Team Octave™, Shemoon's proprietary team framework. It maps how your whole team's archetypes interact — not just individual profiles side by side. It includes a full team composition map, coverage gaps (archetypes your team is missing), friction pairs (combinations that tend to clash), a leadership adaptation guide, and either a full facilitator script to run the session yourselves or a live facilitated session of at least 2 hours. What is Team Octave™?
Team Octave™ is Shemoon’s proprietary framework for mapping how a team leads together. Eight archetypes, like the eight notes of an octave: a team leads best when every note is played, and in harmony. It shows the team map, the team’s shape, the missing notes nobody holds, and the pairs most likely to clash or click. It is available only through a Shemoon Team Reading or a Shemoon Certified Practitioner.
